Immigration Case Worker

Job Overview: We are looking for a candidate who can manage load of multiple client files from beginning until the end.  

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle caseload of multiple clients including but not limited to, managing communications with clients, collect documents from clients and updating information as when available from clients.
  • Develop and maintain checklist of client documents and following up with clients for documents.
  • Review of Work permit, Study permit, Visitor related applications and Immigration related applications such as, Economic Class, Express Entry, and PNP for completeness.
  • Create SOPs, study plans, and draft letters.
  • Serve as the key contact for clients, providing updates and addressing inquiries.
  • Receive and attend to visitors and clients.
  • Stay updated on Canadian immigration laws and policies.
  • Schedule appointments and meetings with clients.
  • Ensure timelines and deadlines are met, including expiry dates and key dates.

What we are looking for:

  • A Bachelor’s Degree
  • Completion of Canadian Immigration Case Management Program with minimum one year experience in case management role.
  • Excellent client relationships skills. Experience in client management is an asset.
  • Experience working with international students.
  • Strong understanding of the study permit, work permit and visitor visa application guidelines.
  • Strong understanding of the various immigration streams.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills are essential for this role. Fluency in English language.
  • Technology friendly and proficiency in MS Office, Word, Excel, and PDF tools is required.
  • Business letter drafting skills with solid experience in professional writing in legal setting.

  • Monday to Friday, 9 am – 5 pm.
