Canada welcomes millions of visitors from various countries across the world. Canada is one of the most popular travel destination known for its natural beauty and landscapes, national parks, and the most famous natural attractions in the world, the Niagara Falls. Canada’s cities are a melting pot of cultures, offering rich urban experiences.
Whether you are visiting friend or family or visiting for business or traveling to Canada for holidays, in most instances you would require a Visitor Visa, also called Temporary Resident Visa. TRV or Visitor Visa, is an official document issued by a Canadian visa office. It is placed in your passport to show that you have met the requirements for admission to Canada as a temporary resident (either as a visitor, a student, or a worker). Certain travelers do not need a Temporary Resident Visa (TRV) to enter Canada. Instead, they may need an Electronic Travel Authorization (eTA) if they are traveling by air.
Foreign nationals must meet the eligibility requirements and establish that there visit to Canada is genuine and temporary, and will leave Canada at the end of their stay. The application process requires documentation to prove eligibility for admission and may require a medical examination. It is important that you understand the immigration regulations when you plan your visit to Canada. Navigating complexities of Canadian immigration can be challenging and daunting.
